Yummy S’mores Bites
Have you met many people who don’t like S’mores? Me either. They seem to be one of those desserts everyone, young and old, can agree on. You even mention the word in my house and you get cheers of delight. Crisp graham crackers, gooey melted chocolate and tasted marshmallows…oh, yeah. That’s why it’s a brilliant idea to make S’mores Bites in your oven…no campfire required!
You may know I’m a fan of using my mini cupcake pan for baking all kinds of goodies besides cupcakes. Anything bite size is just good!
Cookie cups are all the rage in my house right now. We’ve made dreamy Strawberry Lemon Cookie Cups as well as my personal favorite, because it marries two of the BEST desserts EVER, Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups with Cheesecake Filling. Oh, my, almost too good!
How to Make S’mores Bites
How cool is it that your oven does all the work for these S’mores Bites? It’s really so simple.
Place the crushed buttered graham crackers and sugar in cupcake pan. Bake slightly. Place a piece of chocolate and then a marshmallow cut in half on top and bake a little more. Finish with a tiny bit of broil to get that perfectly browned marshmallow top.
And voila! You have a dessert everyone loves!
Silly me, I tried making the recipe without the added sugar in the graham cracker crumbs to have just a teensy bit less sweetness. What I found is that they need the crystallization of the sugar to stay together. Although the bites tasted good and had a little less sugar, they feel apart when I tried to take them out of the cupcake pan. So trust me, leave it in 🙂

Yummy S’mores Bites
Looking for a yummy dessert recipe everyone loves? Try these tasty little S'mores Bites! They're easy to make in your oven, no campfire required!
Ingredients
- 5 graham crackers about 1 package
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 1.55 ounce Hershey bars, broken into squares
- 12 marshmallows cut in half
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
-
Crush the graham crackers finely using a food processor or a ziplock bag and a rolling pin.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the graham crackers, butter, and powdered sugar. Scoop about one teaspoon of the graham cracker mixture into 24 wells of a mini muffin tin and use your fingers to press the crumbs down.
-
Bake 4-5 minutes or until edges are golden. Keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t burn.
-
While graham cracker crust bakes, break the candy into the divided rectangle pieces. Also cut the marshmallows in half using kitchen scissors. Keep scissors in warm water so the marshmallow doesn’t stick.
-
Remove pan from the oven and place one chocolate rectangle into each cup. Place one marshmallow half, cut-side down, into each cup as well.
-
Return to oven for 2-4 minutes or until marshmallows are just slightly softened. If you'd like the tops more brown, broil the S'mores Bites for 1-2 minutes.
-
Cool on a cooling rack for 15 minutes before and then carefully remove them from the pan.

They ARE!! I mean really good! They’re so easy too. The kids thought it was great they could have them without a campfire! Cool!
Wow! Creative and smart and so yummy!
Thanks, Kellie! They are yummy, but I love that fact they are so easy to make and put right in the oven! S’mores anytime…yes!
I love s’mores, and the fact that you can make them in 30 min…but only 24…hmmm
i know…24 isn’t quite enough, but you can always double the batch 🙂 These are so yummy, you may just want to do that! Enjoy.
Erin, you have me drooling over here! Hubby and I are NUTS ABOUT S’MORES! We can’t get enough of them and have been eating them like crazy lately. 😉 These look so fantastic and I LOVE how quick the recipe is. I’ve pinned it to try later. And by later I mean most likely within the next 24 hours. Haha!
You should definitely give them a try! They are almost too easy. Thanks for the pin and let me know how they turn out!
S’mores bites are such a wonderful idea Erin! Sometimes all you need is a tiny little taste of your favorite treats! Love it!
Yes! I like to have just a little bite and then I’m satisfied. These are also great to take to get-togethers…everybody can have a little taste!
That looks wonderful, pinned it so I could try it. Beautiful photography by the way :-). Thanks so much for joining us at the DI & DI Link Party, we hope it brings you some great traffic and new friends.
Ahhh, thanks Christine! These are so good , they were definitely easy to photography. I only had like three or four during the shoot 🙂 I appreciate the pin!
Oh these look absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to try making these 🙂
Thanks for coming by for the recipe, Angie! They are so simple to throw together…and you probably have all the ingredients in your pantry right now.
Doesn’t this just take you back to childhood and fun adventures. I mean who ever ate a smore while having a rainy, gloomy day? Smores are tied to great memories! Now I don’t have to wait for a fire in the firepit or campfire to have a smore! What a great idea. I need a mini muffin pan, ASAP!
S’mores definitely take you back to you childhood. My kids are eating them up this summer, but like you said not need to wait for a campfire…you can make these in the oven anytime. Rain or shine!
Erin these looks so yummy and fun! Love a good variation on the ole’ s’mores recipe 🙂
I couldn’t believe how easy they are to make…and then they taste so good! I just can’t get enough of these s’mores! We’re camping right now and making them over the fire, but I think I like oven bakes….you don’t smell like the fire all night 🙂
What a perfect summer snack!I’m sure it is a big hit with your kiddos and I’m sure it will be a big hit with mine (including my big kiddo!). Thanks Erin for the tummy yummy.
Hugs, Lynn
I was not expecting these to be so easy to make. I love smores and have them a lot while camping.
Yep, super easy! Now,rain or shine you can eat these tasty bites!
WOW! They look AMAZING!
Ahhh, thanks, Desiree! They taste amazing…one bite just isn’t enough 🙂 Better to make a double batch if you’re serving these to a crowd.
These do look yummy. My kids love s’mores. Thanks for joining the Family Joy Link Party!
Hi, we are looking forward to these! Just a quick question – do these freeze well? Thanks :0)
Whoops! Just saw the note up top! Sorry…
I think they’ll be a hit for you. I just like that they are so easy to make and are so darn cute! I see you got your question answered 🙂
These look great! Would they work with cupcake liners in the pan?
Good question, Christine. Cupcake liners might work to keep the pan cleaner, but I’m not sure you’d get the same toasted crispness that makes them so good.
Wow smores porn!! 🙂 These look absolutely amazing Erin!! Only 3 grams of sugar….really?? That’s amazing… I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! 🙂
Totally!! These are bite-size s’mores heaven – hence the 3 grams of sugar! Enjoy my friend!
How long do you bake these? do you bake the graham cracker crust first?
So sorry Judy! When I updated my recipe card, it cut off the remainder of the recipe. It’s now all there and the cook times are listed. Enjoy!
