You want zesty?? Come and get it! Whether you’re entertaining friends or you need the perfect appetizer for the big game, these Jalapeño Popper Toppers are the perfect fit!
Of course these little bit-sized poppers have flavor galore, but you know what else they have going for them? They’re sooo EASY! Yep, a few simple ingredients and you have yourself the perfect little snack!
So, we have some hot-mouths in the family. Two teenage boys and one spice-loving husband. What’s a hot-mouth you say? That’s someone who loves to tempt their taste buds with a little, well, a lot of zip! Jalapeños are their go-to pepper. And when you pair jalapeños with their favorite snack - WHEAT THINS - it’s a touchdown!
That’s why I make these Jalapeño Popper Toppers with WHEAT THINS on game day or whenever I know my guys will be around to gobble them up.
True story, one of my sons just can’t get enough WHEAT THINS so we call him the king of snacks! These whole grain WHEAT THINS are 100% awesome! Just ask him or any of my other kids. That’s why the box seems to disappear in a blink of an eye and we stock the pantry with multiple boxes. Then, we have plenty of these original WHEAT THINS for lunches - and of course snack time.
How to Make Jalapeño Cracker Dip
So, when I say this recipe is easy, I mean it! You can even make it ahead and spoon it on your WHEAT THINS right before guests arrive for the big game and you’re ready to watch, cheer…and eat!
Grab your ingredients and let’s get started!
First, cut each of your fresh jalapeños into 12 thin slices and set aside. Then, take your room temperature cream cheese and place it in a medium-sized bowl. Next, add your remaining ingredients and mix together.
Finally, spoon an even amount on each WHEAT THIN and top with a slice of jalapeño. Place on a serving tray and watch as they disappear within minutes!
