Healthy Smoothie Recipes
There’s no better way to start your day than Healthy Smoothie Recipes! Not only are smoothies super easy to prepare, but they also prime your metabolism (and who doesn’t need that), and set you up for a clean eating pattern for the rest of the day. Plus, with one kitchen appliance to clean, it’s a quick breakfast that you can take on-the-go if you need to! You can even prep the ingredients that night before for an even faster breakfast routine.
Healthy Smoothies can be customized to your dietary needs and preferences. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add less liquid and vice versa. If you want more protein, fat or fiber, simply choose an add-in that meets your needs.
Smoothie add-ins will provide you with some amazing nourishment for your day that you don’t find in processed bars or packaged cereals. Adding powerful nutrients in the form of fiber and/or fat will help keep you satiated and satisfied for several hours! Perfect! No snacking on empty calories! I recommend you choose at least 2 items from the list below when making your Easy Breakfast Smoothie:
- 1⁄2 ripe avocado
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1⁄2–1 ounce nuts (i.e. almonds, cashews, walnuts) or 1 TBSP nut or seed butter (i.e. almond or cashew butter)
- 1 scoop of Green SuperFood or Reds powder
- 1 Tbsp flax seed Oil
- 1 Tbsp Hempseed
The best part, Healthy Breakfast smoothie Recipes are so satisfying and filling. I consider a smoothie an essential part of my morning! Kids also love the fruity or chocolatey flavor of smoothies, so they’re a great way to get them some extra nutrients as well. Whatever flavor or flavor combination you choose, you can’t go wrong!
So go ahead, enjoy the benefits of healthy shakes for breakfast…or midday snack!
