Cranberry White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies In a Jar

Ingredients
- Layer 1:
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- Layer 2
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- Layer 3
- 3/4 cup flour + 1/2 tsp baking powder + 1/8 tsp salt + pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg (mixed together)
- Layer 4
- 1 cup old fashion rolled oats
- Layer 5
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- Layer 6
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- In the order listed, layer ingredients in a 1 quart jar.
- Attach the following instructions to the jar:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl with an electric mixer, combine 1/2 cup softened, unsalted butter, 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Add the entire jar of ingredients to the butter mixture.
- Using a wooden spoon, mix all ingredients until fully incorporated. This may take a little effort, but it will come together.
- Use a medium cookie scoop to measure and drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for about 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
