Press sauté on your Instant Pot, add a tablespoon of olive oil, let it heat up. Cook your ground turkey and salt (or ground beef) while breaking it into small chunks. About 3-4 minutes. Add your onions and garlic and cook another minute or two.
Add your marinara sauce, water, basil, and spaghetti to the pot. Break the pasta in half to fit into the Instant pot to be fully covered by the liquid. Press down if necessary, but don't stir.
Cover and cook on high-pressure setting for 8 minutes. When done, do a quick release, so the pasta doesn't continue cooking. Finally, give it a quick stir and serve topped with grated parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
You can use ground beef or chicken in place of ground turkey in this recipe.
