Easy Instant Pot Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 25 ounce jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups water
- 8 ounces whole wheat spaghetti
- Grated Parmesan cheese optional
Press sauté on your Instant Pot, add tablespoon of olive oil, let it heat up. Cook your ground turkey and salt (or ground beef) while breaking it into small chunks. About 3-4 minutes. Add your onions and garlic and cook another minute or two.
Add your marinara sauce, water, basil and spaghetti to pot. Break the pasta in half to fit into the Instant pot to be fully covered by the liquid. Press down if necessary, but don't stir.
Cover and cook on high pressure setting for 8 minutes. When done, do a quick release so the pasta doesn't continue cooking. Finally, give it a quick stir and serve topped with grated parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
