Easter Cookies in a Jar

Ingredients

Layer 1

  • 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt

Layer 2

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Layer 3

  • 1/2 granulated sugar

Layer 4

  • 2/3 cup white chocolate chips

Layer 5

  • 2/3 cup Easter M&Ms any variety

Instructions

  • In the order listed, layer ingredients in a 1 quart jar.
  • Attach the following instructions to the jar:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl with an electric mixer, combine 1/2 cup softened, unsalted butter, 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  • Add the entire jar of ingredients to the butter mixture.
  • Using a wooden spoon, mix all ingredients until fully incorporated. This may take a little effort, but it will come together.
  • Use a medium cookie scoop to measure and drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for about 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
