Easy Homemade Hummus
This homemade hummus is easy and delicious! You'll love it more than store bought!

- 2 15.5 oz cans chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice more if you prefer
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 1/4 tsp coarse salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Reserving 1/2 cup liquid, rinse and drain chickpeas.
Place chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, olive oil and garlic in food processor. Process until smooth.
Add cayenne, salt and reserved liquid, process until just combined. Use more or less of liquid to desired consistency.
Drizzle with olive oil if desired. Eat and enjoy!
This recipes makes about 3 cups of hummus.
