Cranberry Sauce Recipe

- 12 oz. fresh cranberries about 3 cups
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
Bring water and sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Turn heat down to medium and add cranberries and simmer, stirring occasionally, until berries just pop 10 to 12 minutes.
Stir in zest, then cool to room temperature. Refrigerate 2-hours before serving.
