A Thanksgiving Table
Thanksgiving is almost here, but first the table needs to be set! I’ve always liked decorating the table for the holidays. It’s fun to use what I can find around the house as well as natural items like fresh flowers, fruit, twigs or leaves from the yard. This year I went with an elegant rustic feel…I really like the look of berries, so some of those were definitely included 🙂
Fall Foliage
There are some really great colors of fall berries to choose from this time of year. From dark tiger orange to light marigold, they were all beautiful and festive. As you can see I like a lighter version. Gorgeous!
And I can’t say enough about this adorable little deer head. It was a perfect fit for my Thanksgiving table setting. He rests on top of the napkin and grabs your attention. The buck has a tiny bit of sheen to it so it definitely felt elegant and rustic.
Tips for Decorating Your Table
The table came together in about a half hour once I had all the items I wanted to include. {Tip – It’s a good idea to decorate and set your table a few days before the event so you’re free to focus on cooking and cleaning right before the the big day.}
The Finishing Touches
Don’t forget to light your table with candles…they add so much to the ambiance of your meal. Enjoy decorating your table for Thanksgiving. Blessings!
