Honey Nut Cheerios Protein Bites

The busy life of a mom is made easier by simple things like an effortless and delicious recipe that curbs your (or your kids’) hunger and is made with nutritious ingredients you likely have on hand! These Honey Nut Cheerios Protein Bites are perfect anytime, but especially when you need a little energy boost. A total mom win!

There are a few parenting wins I picked up from my parents. Of course, as a child, I didn’t realize how valuable they would be, but now as a mom, I do. One of these wins is getting your kids to eat wholesome and nutritious snacks and cereals. We always had a box of Cheerios in the kitchen cabinet for breakfast or after-school munching when I was young. Hello, whole grains! Now, there’s always a box of Cheerios in my pantry and my kids enjoy them too, so things have come full-circle.

I’m feeling a little nostalgic! I even remember when Honey Nut Cheerios came out! My brothers and I loved its honey and almond flavor. That’s why I find these Honey Nut Cheerios Protein Bites so good and why I love that Cheerios has a Buy One, Give One promotion going on right now!

Keep reading for more details on the promotion and why my sister-in-law is the most deserving recipient!

Find the promotion here [1].

Cheerios Buy One, Give One Promotion

Have you heard about the Cheerios Buy One, Give One Promotion? It’s rather simple and genius! You go to Walmart (because you’re probably headed there anyway to do your weekly shopping) and buy a box of specially-marked Cheerios (look for the “send a free box” call-out) and you can give a box to anyone you want. How is that for spreading some love?!

After purchasing a Buy One, Give One [2] specially-marked box of Cheerios, find your code to enter on the Walmart website and send a coupon for a free box of Cheerios to someone in your life (hint: if they’re a hard-working, on-the-go mom hero, I’d pick them!).

Who would you give a box to? For me, it’s my sister-in-law. I admire her skill as a mom. She’s full of patience and thoughtfulness, and she takes the time to cook and bake for her family. Not to mention, she always has tasty recipes to share with my family. Also, with four sweet kids with big appetites in the house, I know her grocery bill isn’t small! Therefore, getting a box of Cheerios would be a nice little bonus that would make them all happy. Plus, she can grab her ingredients at Walmart and then make these Honey Nut Cheerios Protein Bites too!

If she lived closer, I’d run a batch over, but I know she’s a good cook and can whip up a batch in minutes!
